Wisconsin was a tipping-point state in 2020 -- with the presidential race decided by a mere 21,000 votes. Every vote counts, so we must continue to build the progressive infrastructure to ensure strong turnout and year round activism.
Wisconsin is playing a key role in 2022. And with restrictive voter ID laws designed to keep people of color, disabled, rural, and older people from voting, community groups have a lot of work to do.
Your money will go very far to help these organizations more effectively engage their community—not just for this election, but year-round. In 2020, Daily Kos supported six Wisconsin grassroots groups. In 2022, we are excited to expand this effort and support eight organizations that have good plans for how to engage their communities.
