Goal thermometer

Another GOP retirement has led to another great Democratic pickup opportunity in the House! After just one-and-a-half terms in Congress, Republican Rep. Dave Trott has already decided he wants out, and the suburban Detroit seat he's leaving open is eminently winnable.

Both Donald Trump and Mitt Romney carried Michigan's 11th District by 5 points, but it's also one of the best-educated districts in the country—exactly the kind of place where a backlash to Trump could be felt powerfully.

But Republicans have held this seat for a long time, and you know they won't be keen to relinquish it, so we need to make sure the Democratic nominee has the funds they need to put this race in play.

Please give $3 today to flip Michigan's 11th District from red to blue!
