Stop Pennsylvania Republicans from rigging redistricting!
Just a few weeks after Pennsylvania GOP lawmakers threatened to impeach state Supreme Court justices who’d ruled the state's congressional map an unconstitutional Republican gerrymander, they're attempting to position their own party to completely control Pennsylvania congressional and state redistricting in 2021.
Pennsylvania Republicans are pushing a measure that would create a heavily GOP-skewed redistricting commission that cuts both the Democratic governor and the Democratic-majority state Supreme Court out of the map-drawing process entirely. Republicans would be able to use their current gerrymander to keep themselves in power for another decade.
