Delaware may be small, but it's now one of just six states where Democrats hold both houses of the legislature and the governorship. But the state Senate now has a vacancy, and if the GOP wins, they'd take over the chamber for the first time since the 1970s—and be able to block everything that Democrats want to pass. Our candidate is former New Castle County Council President Stephanie Hansen. Both Obama and Clinton won this seat, but not by big margins, and as you know, in special elections, Democratic turnout tends to fall.
