In 2018, outraged by North Dakota’s Republican-backed voter ID law targeting American Indians, Daily Kos readers chipped in to help turn out Native voters. The response was so overwhelming that a new, permanent, full time, year-round organization was founded.


North Dakota Native Vote (NDNV) is dedicated to increasing civic engagement to develop a representative democracy for both reservation and urban Native communities.
