Contribute to abortion funds in Texas being targeted by anti-abortion legislation

On September 1, 2021, one of the most heinous abortion restrictions in the United States went into effect in Texas. It bans abortion at six weeks and allows any individual or organization in the country to sue Texans who help people access abortion.


This legislation was designed to target abortion funds, which provide small grants and/or practical assistance (like housing, transportation, childcare, lodging, and translation services) to people seeking abortion care.


Abortion funds in Texas will be vulnerable to civil lawsuits as soon as the law goes into effect.
