On February 6, 2023, a massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake shook Turkey and Syria. Many towns have been reduced to rubble, thousands are injured and tens of thousands have died. Survivors are in need of shelter, food, clean water, and medical supplies, all while facing cold winter temperatures.

- Americares offering assistance to partner organizations in Turkey and Syria and is ready to respond with medicine, relief supplies and emergency funding to help survivors access health services.
- World Central Kitchen, is on the ground in Türkiye now beginning distribution of meals for survivors and first responders while working to scale up as quickly as possible.
- The International Fund for Animal Welfare is a worldwide leader in animal rescue and emergency care. IFAW is preparing to rush emergency support to local animal rescue teams in the hardest-hit communities to help the many animals impacted by this catastrophic earthquake.
- Project HOPE empowers health care workers facing the world’s greatest health crises to build resilient communities and a healthier, more equitable world. Project HOPE is on the ground and deploying additional emergency response teams to the devastating back-to-back earthquakes in Turkey & Syria.
