My name is Diana Lebeaux, and I'm a candidate for the Chelmsford, MA School Committee for this April’s election.
I’ve been a resident of Chelmsford for nearly a decade, and my children both attend Chelmsford schools. I’m a career educator who brings a variety of perspectives: that of a former classroom teacher, an administrator, a coach, and consultant, as well as that of a parent. By joining the Chelmsford School Committee, I would be able to blend my broad experience in education with my deep commitment to Chelmsford as a parent and community member.
I believe in elevating parent, student, and educator voices in making decisions about what is best for schools, and I have over a decade of work that supports this. I also believe that a strong school system benefits the entire community and look forward both to advocating for our community and to ensuring that our district is a trustworthy steward of the town’s investment while producing excellent, equitable outcomes for our kids. I’ve spent years at the forefront of educational innovation and am excited to roll up my sleeves and put this experience to use for Chelmsford, and I intend to do it by listening to and elevating the perspectives of all our community’s stakeholders.
