Help me attend the Democratic Convention in July

Goal thermometer

How often have I jumped into things without everything being fully planned out?? I'd have to say that it's a normal part of my life, and keeps things interesting, if not secure at all times. I kinda like it that way. And, for the most part, it turns out amazing well.

So it is now when I decided to sign up as a delegate to the Democratic convention without taking time to make sure I can afford the time or money. Time is not a problem, other then having to play a lot of catch up afterward, but money is going to have to get sorted out.

Four days... and so far I can't find any kind of agenda to work with, but I know the dates

Please help me pay for a room, airfare, and meals with a contribution of up to $250. Thank you so much!

Progressive – where idealism meets reality

More information about the conference can be found at http://pccc.training/

From the site:

The Progressive Change Campaign Committee (BoldProgressives.org) is excited to announce a vital new piece of progressive infrastructure for the coming election cycle. From Thursday, July 30 - Sunday, August 2, over 250 candidates -- local, state, and federal -- will meet in Washington DC for an intensive four-day candidate training.

The training will cover the A to Z's of running for office, including identifying donors, hiring experienced staff, winning local endorsements, earning great press, motivating volunteers, polling, and more. Attendees will also have access to a resource fair where they can have professional head-shots taken, consult with compliance experts, and practice their on-camera speaking skills. It's a valuable opportunity for all candidates, regardless of experience level.

But most importantly, candidates who attend will meet other progressives from all over the country, making useful connections and gaining an understanding of themselves as part of something larger. We're not just training candidates in the nuts and bolts; we're building a movement.
