Building Back Higher Education
As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the inaction of the Trump administration to help, college students across South Jersey faced unprecedented hurdles in the pursuit of their education.
That's why it was important to me and the Democrats in Congress to make sure the American Rescue Plan provided much needed relief to our local colleges and universities to ensure that no student fell behind.
Millions of dollars in financial relief, much of it going to emergency grants for students, will be sent to community colleges across the country.
Standing side by side with the Biden Harris administration, we are building back better.
