Labor Day we honor the American worker of past & present for the sacrifices and triumphs that have allowed our country to build higher and stronger than ever imagined.
Still many working families are struggling.
With the the decline of labor protections and fair wages, many of us are wondering if the American dream is no longer possible. When I was a union electrician and a single father, I felt secure knowing I had a labor union supporting me and my family.
That's why I am passionate about fighting for working families and giving them the protections I had. This Labor Day, I am again calling on the Senate to pass the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act which will expand various labor protections related to employees' rights to organize and even the playing field for workers.
