By contributing each donor acknowledges:
- Under federal, state, and local law, including Securities and Exchange Commission Rule 206(4)-5 and other “pay-to-play” laws, donations may not be earmarked or provided for the benefit of a particular public official;
- the donor has the legal authority to contribute the funds they are contributing;
- the contributed funds have not been obtained through fraud or other violations of the law;
- that donors do not direct The PAC for America's principles or goals.
Contributions or gifts to The PAC for America’s Future are not tax deductible. Contributors should fill out all fields in the contribution form, including name, residential address, occupation, employer name, and employer's city/state. If self-employed, please list the name through which you do business in the “employer” field. Federal law imposes taxes and penalties on political organizations for failing to disclose required information to the IRS. The PAC for America’s Future files public reports disclosing its contributors with the IRS and states in accordance with state election laws.
Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.
The first $5,000 that you contribute in a calendar year will go to the PAC for America’s Future’s $5,000-and-under Contribution Account. Once a contributor has contributed $5,000 in a calendar year to that Contribution Account, The PAC for America’s Future will transfer any amounts given in excess of $5,000 to the PAC for America’s Future’s nonfederal account. Please contact us at info@statesproject.org if you have any questions or would like a different allocation.
By donating to PAC for America’s Future, you agree that your contribution may be used for campaign media spending and your name, mailing address, occupation, and employer may be reported to the Arizona Secretary of State. To opt out of having your donation so used, contact us at info@statesproject.org within 21 days of making this donation. A receipt confirming your decision to opt-out is available upon request.
Under federal law, The PAC for America’s Future can accept contributions from U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted permanent residents (i.e., green card holders) but cannot accept contributions from foreign nationals.
