GAIN Power is a platform to network and build the community of people and organizations powering Democratic and Progressive politics. We create programs to recruit and retain talent and support organizations impacting democracy, elections, governing, and advocacy. We offer a career center, career fairs, professional development panels, live events, a unique social network site, awards, and more unique programs designed to build and connect our professional community to market organizations fueling our democracy and government.
We highlight individual stories, innovative technology, creativity and content, research and data, and strategic programs that make our democracy work - especially those open for all talent to learn from and grow. We strive to create connections between our professional network and the organizations that need them, so everyone can have a hand in building a better government.
Our mission is to diversity, demystify, and democratize political work - making it more accessible and creating new transparent pathways to the powerful institutions that impact our democracy. We seek to increase the representation of traditionally underserved constituencies in government and the organizations that influence government policies that affect them. Our initiatives provide positive and inclusive opportunities for all participants - regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or experience.
