Serving as a public school educator for over 25 years—as a teacher, principal, county office of education executive leader, and now a school board member—has been the honor of my life. Every step has strengthened my belief that every child deserves safety, belonging, opportunity, and a future filled with possibility. That’s why I’m running for Contra Costa County Superintendent of Schools.

This campaign is more than an election—it’s a movement to drive meaningful change across our county. A movement to:

1) Support student mental health and well-being

2) Ensure strong literacy foundations

3) Expand career pathways and STEM innovation

4) Champion the educators who serve our communities

5) Lead with student-centered budgeting that keeps resources as close to the classroom as possible

I am a proven change agent—someone who doesn’t just identify gaps, but builds solutions, brings people together, and turns challenges into opportunities for students and educators. I will lead with a deep commitment to students, families, and educators—lifting up every youth, in every community, across Contra Costa County.
