I am seeking a seat on the Texas State Board of Education because our students and educators deserve representation grounded in classroom and leadership experience, a sound understanding of policy, and a commitment to strong public schools. As a veteran educator and school leader, I have spent decades working directly with teachers, students, and families. I have seen firsthand how state-level decisions on curriculum standards, instructional materials, educator preparation, and funding disparities affect what happens every day in schools. I'm running to ensure those decisions are focused on student learning rather than politics.
