Dr. Charles Thompson Scholarship
The Dr. Charles Thompson Scholarship Fund has been established by the Wood County [Texas] Democratic Party to honor the service of a fellow Democrat and educator. The Party will contribute to the fund that will assist a high school senior graduating from a school in Wood County, TX.
Dr. Thompson served as the Wood County Chair for the Democratic Party for 20 years! He also served as a representative for the Texas Retired Teachers Association in local, district and state legislative committees. Dr. Thompson has inspired generations of students and individuals to realize their full potential which would in turn improve their lives and the lives of the people around them. It may be safe to say that Wood County is a little more prosperous thanks to him.
We would like to help continue his legacy by awarding students who share Dr. Thompson's love of learning and service to others.
Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
