Contribution rules
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
Contributions to Colom Victory Fund will be allocated as follows: The first $3,500 of each contribution from a person and the first $5,000 from a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to Scott Colom for Senate and will be designated for the Colom Legal Fund account. The next $132,900 from an individual and $45,000 from a PAC will be designated to the DSCC Legal Fund. The next $10,000 from an individual or $5,000 from a PAC will be allocated to the Mississippi Democratic Party Legal Fund. All contributions in excess will be designated to the DSCC up to the legal limits.
Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting jay@bluewavepolitics.com. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant. Contributions will be used in connection with federal elections.
Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 per calendar year.
