As an Assistant Attorney General in Nebraska, Jocelyn saw firsthand how deeply unfair and deceptive business practices can impact everyday people — families trying to make ends meet, students investing in their future, seniors living on fixed incomes, and consumers simply trying to trust the systems meant to protect them. That work became personal to her.


During her five years in the Attorney General’s Office, she helped enforce state and federal consumer protection laws across industries including health care, financial services, education, pharmaceuticals, autos, and charitable organizations. She took on leadership roles in major enforcement actions, including a 41-state $35 million settlement with Tempoe, LLC - providing real relief to consumers.
