Democratic Underground for Christina Hines MI-10

A Daughter of Macomb

Christina’s story is one of hard work, service, and fighting for others. These are the values she learned growing up in Macomb County in a hardworking middle-class family and in Warren Woods Public Schools. These are the values she hopes to impart to her children that she and her husband, David, are raising right here in Macomb County. These are the values she will bring with her to Congress.

A Fighter for Survivors of Sexual Assault, Child Abuse, and Human Trafficking

Christina attended the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and earned her law degree from Wayne State University Law School. Immediately after law school, she worked as a prosecutor where she helped victims of sexual abuse and human trafficking, and put away predators who preyed on women and children. Throughout Christina’s career as a legal leader in Michigan, she has prosecuted hate crimes, cold case sexual assaults, homicide, torture, and human trafficking cases, from district courts to the Michigan Supreme Court, and also started a Restorative Justice Program.

A Protector for Our Future

Christina is running for Congress because she believes it’s time to put the middle class first, to make sure that the American Dream isn’t just a dream but a reality for everyone—no matter who you are, where you come from, or how much money you make. It’s time to rebuild an economy that works for *all* of us. It’s time to fight to preserve the American dream for future generations.
