Join the Democratic Volunteer Center for an in-person fundraising event on April 4 featuring local Congress member Sam Liccardo, who will fill us in on what is going on from his vantage point at the frontlines in Washington DC. Bring your questions about the state of our democracy, the outlook for this year's elections, and whatever issues you are concerned about.


Representative Liccardo brings exceptional insights from his experiences in Congress, as mayor of San Jose from 2015 to 2023, and as leader of the California Big City Mayors Coalition for two years. He wrote the book Let’s Get It Done! Moving a Divided Congress Toward Solutions (you can read it on his website samliccardo.com).


Join us for refreshments and a lively Q&A and discussion. Also, hear about the DVC’s exciting Silicon Valley HQ plan to host volunteers like you in 2026!

This event is a fundraiser for the Democratic Volunteer Center (DVC) to support setting up our 2026 Campaign Headquarters, brought to you by the DVC, the Peninsula Democratic Coalition (PDC), the Santa Clara County Democratic Party (SCCDP), It's Blue Turn, Together We Will, States Win South Bay and States Win Peninsula.
