Help Re-Elect Mary Peltola AK-AL!

Alaska-At large (AK-AL) is a statewide race and the only representative seat for AK in congress.

Mary Peltola, born in 1973 in Alaska, is a Native Yup’ik and was raised along the Kuskokwim River. Her connection to Alaska’s Indigenous communities deeply informs her leadership and advocacy. She has raised seven children with her husband, Gene Peltola, Jr.

Peltola attended the University of Alaska and has a long-standing career in public service. She served in the Alaska State House from 1999 to 2009, representing Bethel. She was a relentless advocate for fisheries and Indigenous rights. In 2022, Peltola became the first Alaska Native to serve in the U.S. Congress after winning a special election, succeeding the late Rep. Don Young.

Peltola has built a reputation as a consensus-builder, focusing on key issues such as:

  • Protecting Alaska’s Fisheries: Peltola is a staunch defender of sustainable fishing practices, advocating for Indigenous rights and the protection of Alaska’s waters.
  • Climate Change: With a deep connection to the land, Peltola supports policies that address climate change while promoting Alaska’s economic development.
  • Healthcare & Social Security: She champions universal healthcare, ensuring every Alaskan has access to medical care. Peltola is also a strong defender of Social Security and veterans’ benefits.
  • Reproductive Rights: A firm supporter of reproductive freedom, Peltola has stood against efforts to limit women’s rights in Alaska and nationwide.

Peltola’s authentic representation of Alaskan values, combined with her advocacy for bipartisan solutions, makes her a strong contender. Her ability to unite diverse groups—from rural Alaskans to urban voters—and her proven legislative track record demonstrates her capacity to secure wins for Alaska.

We're counting on grassroots supporters like you to power Mary Peltola to victory.
