She has spent her career turning that experience into action — from serving on the Minneapolis School Board and leading the Children’s Defense Fund–Minnesota to serving in the Legislature and helping deliver paid family leave, investments in education, healthcare, and housing as Lieutenant Governor.

 

Now Peggy is running for the U.S. Senate to lower costs, protect Social Security and Medicare, defend reproductive freedom, strengthen workers’ rights, and make sure government works for working families instead of powerful special interests.
