U.S. Senator Tina Smith (D, Minnesota) is running for special election as Senator for her seat where she is currently an appointee.


Sen. Tina Smith was appointed to the open seat of Sen. Al Franken and began serving in January 2018. Tina Smith was previously Lt. Governor of Minnesota, an elected office that she has won twice.
