Matt Vitale is a South St. Louis County native, public servant, and public-school dad running to flip Missouri House District 96.


Matt began his career helping visually impaired veterans regain their independence at the Department of Veterans Affairs and later worked in civil-rights enforcement and accessibility at the U.S. Department of Education. Now he and his wife, Becca, are raising two children in the community Matt grew up in. 


He’s running to fully fund public schools, lower costs for working families, defend reproductive freedom, protect paid sick leave and workers’ rights, and make Jefferson City answer to Missouri families instead of wealthy special interests. 


HD-96 is flippable. Help Matt turn this suburban St. Louis seat blue and take another step toward breaking the Republican supermajority in the Missouri House.
