Mondaire Jones, raised in Spring Valley, NY, by a single mother and his grandmother, knows the struggles of working-class families. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Jones worked in the Obama administration and as a litigator before entering politics.


As a former U.S. Representative for New York’s 17th District, Jones was a leading voice for progressive causes. He co-founded the Congressional LGBTQ+ Equality Caucus and was instrumental in passing key legislation on voting rights and social justice.


Issue Stances:


  • Healthcare: Advocates for Medicare for All.
  • Climate Change: Supports the Green New Deal.
  • Social Justice: Strong proponent of criminal justice reform and voting rights.
