Donation to Scholarship Award

Please partner with the Democratic Women’s Council of Horry County (DWCHC) to sponsor our annual Scholarship Essay Contest. Each year we award one or more Horry County high school seniors a scholarship(s) based on the funds we raise from members, Democratic Clubs, local businesses and organization. Our awards each year are based on funds raised by our generous sponsors and donors.


An online booklet containing the winning essays is published and distributed throughout the community and through various websites and social media. If you would like to have your business, organization or individual name featured in our scholarship booklet, please email us at DWChorrycounty@gmail.com.

 

Contribution rules

  1. South Carolina: I am making this contribution with my own personal, corporate, or business credit card, and not a card issued to another person.
  2. I am at least eighteen years old.
  3. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  4. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
