SURJ is excited to work as a member organization of Detention Watch Network. DWN is a national coalition building power through collective advocacy, grassroots organizing, and strategic communications to abolish immigration detention in the United States. The abolition of immigration detention is part and parcel of struggles against racism, xenophobia, discriminatory policing, and mass incarceration and our aims coincide with these broader struggles against racialized oppression.

This page is sponsored by Showing Up for Racial Justice Education Fund (SURJ-EF), a national network of groups and individuals working for a world where racial and economic justice thrive and where all communities are free from violence and fear. Through community organizing, mobilizing, and education, SURJ-EF works to undermine white supremacy and move white people to act as part of a multi-racial majority for justice.
