Born and raised on the east side of Bakersfield, Dylan Pearson attended BCSD schools and now serves his community as a high school teacher and basketball coach. He has experienced our schools as a student and now sees firsthand the challenges facing students, educators, and families.
Dylan is running for the BCSD School Board to put students first, support teachers and staff, expand opportunities, and make sure every child has a chance to succeed, no matter what side of town they call home.
But he can’t do this alone.
