Down Home NC: Early Intensive Rural Organizing

Down Home NC will be staffing up in NC counties that are considered swing districts. These districts will be key to taking back a state house majority and winning the most swing Congressional seat.

Down Home focuses on multi-racial small town and rural areas, knocking on doors and connecting with voters about critical issues that affect their communities. Early engagement with these voters builds an effective network that can push back against extremism. Down Home will conduct a comprehensive program involving candidate recruitment, community organizing, new communications strategies, voter registration and coalition-building.
