Essex County College Wolverine Athletic Hall of Fame

Dear Friend of ECC,

 

Essex County College (ECC) is honored to announce its inaugural Wolverines Athletics Hall of Fame scheduled for Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Cleo Hill Sr., Physical Education Building on our Main Campus in Newark, NJ. We not only invite you to attend this prestigious event but also ask for your generosity and

support that will help enrich lives, broaden learning and empower our

student-athletes to achieve their full potential. Our overarching goal is

to help our students earn a valuable college education and take the next

step toward achieving their dreams.

 

Our inaugural Hall of Fame Inductees include the Honorable Sharpe James, RussellRogers, Cleo Hill Sr., the 19731974 Men's Basketball Team, and Olympians Novlene-Williams-Mills, Kerron Stewart and Melaine Walker. Since 1968, ECC has focused on the transformative power of education to change lives by creating  a learning environment that fosters high expectations for achievement. Our two great campuses in Newark and West Caldwell serve approximately 9,000 students each year. Our graduates become leaders and contribute to the health, vitality, and advancement of society.
