Support Edie for CU

As a 29-year Boulder resident, a former State Representative, and a mother of a CU graduate, I know firsthand that the success of the CU system is inextricably linked to Colorado's success. But managing a multi-billion dollar institution—the state’s third-largest employer and Boulder’s largest landowner—requires more than just a passion for education. It requires experienced governance.

The Board of Regents oversees the budget, grants tenure, and manages the complex "town and gown" relationship that defines our area. From land use and student housing to economic research and cultural impacts, the stakes are incredibly high.

I am running for the Board of Regents in CD 2 to bring smart, focused, and bipartisan advocacy to the table.

During my time in the State House (2017-2023), I didn't just represent Boulder—I fought for the University.

  • Fiscal Oversight: As Chair of the Capital Development Committee, I worked across the aisle to secure millions in funding for the infrastructure critical to CU’s research and education missions.
  • Advocacy: My commitment to students and faculty earned me the 2017 Legislator of the Year award.
  • Expertise: With a Master’s in Public Administration and years of intergovernmental experience, I understand the budget process and the legislative landscape better than anyone in this race.

My endorsements from public servants and civic leaders reflect a career built on collaboration and results. Now, I am asking for your support to bring that same dedication to the CU Board of Regents.
