The most important thing Texas Blue Action does is build effective, sustainable volunteer infrastructure. Democrats can’t keep spending time re-recruiting the same volunteers year after year. Instead Blue Action supports our volunteers and makes sure they’re networking more like-minded voters to improve voter turnout. 

Stranger texts and calls used to be sufficient for contacting voters. This is no longer true. Trusted messengers are the most efficient and effective way to contact voters that aren’t making it to the voting booth. That’s what Blue Action has been advocating for years. We have the voters to win election if we could only reach them and help them realize their power. 

We can’t just flip the Senate and Governor’s seats. We must flip the Texas legislature as well. By supporting candidates running for the Texas Legislature we are making sure Texas Blue Action volunteers are educating their networks about races up and down the ballot. 

We can’t flip these seats without making contact with voters, our friends, family, or anyone we know who isn't voting. That’s what is so important about Blue Action’s experience and support for our volunteer relational organizers.
