Elizabeth Guzman is a dedicated public servant with a background in social work and public administration. She was previously elected to the Virginia's House of Delegates, representing the 31st District, which includes parts of Prince William and Fauquier Counties, for six years. Elizabeth immigrated to the United States as a young single mother, working multiple jobs to support her family while pursuing higher education. She earned degrees from Northern Virginia Community College, American University, and the University of Southern California. Elizabeth has served as Vice-Chair of the Education Committee and Chair of the Social Services Subcommittee. She championed workers' rights by advocating for paid sick leave and lifting Virginia's ban on public sector collective bargaining. Her efforts have been recognized by organizations such as the Virginia Education Association and the Virginia League of Conservation Voters. Elizabeth resides in Prince William County with her husband Carlos and their four children. Elizabeth is now running for the Virginia House of Delegates' 22nd District.
