A community advocate, progressive leader, and environmental professional, Eleana Little is running for City Council to serve the people of Jersey City. Her vision for Jersey City includes tackling the affordability crisis by building affordable housing and protecting tenants’ rights.
As an engineer, she knows we need infrastructure for today and tomorrow, not just yesterday—improved mass transit, reliable water and sewer, flood mitigation for increasingly severe weather, and safe streets for all ages and abilities.
Eleana believes Jersey City residents deserve responsible stewardship of our tax dollars, and will strive to identify and rein in wasteful spending practices in the city budget while focusing on improving essential city services like garbage collection and the 911 system. She’s also passionate about protecting and expanding access to green space in downtown Jersey City, and ensuring affordable activities and opportunities exist for our youth.
