Allison is a mom to 5, wife, daughter, sister, and friend striving to make people happy & the world a bit better. She married her high school sweetheart Chris in 2003, right after graduating from UVA. With all of her children currently in the Albemarle County Public School system, in all 3 levels of school (elementary, middle and high school), she has a personal, vested interest in the success and betterment of our county schools.  

Allison believes that public education lays the groundwork for a well-functioning society, and that a strong and well-rounded education makes our residents more likely to support democracy. She is running for School Board to ensure that all students in ACPS receive a world-class education and that they can thrive in a safe and inclusive environment.
