John Deer for Manlius Supervisor

It's been a whirlwind since 2021 when I first ran for Manlius Town Supervisor. I have learned a lot about what it takes to get things done and I'm not finished. We've earned tens of thousands of dollars in grant funding for sustainability and we're wrapping up our comprehensive plan. We've tackled historic issues such as pay equity and underfunding of professional development. I've built relationships with each of the town departments and started the hard work of multi year planning.  

It's hard to put into words what this job is like, but I love it. I get to work with outstanding public servants and try to solve everyday problems. I believe that local government can do good things when we invite residents into the process and empower them to lead their community. I want to build a new town hall that fits our community and ensure we tackle the housing crisis head-on by diversifying our housing stock. The people have spoken and made it clear in our comprehensive plan where we want Manlius to be in ten years; we need to focus and get it done.
