Support Libraries for Giving Tuesday

SUPPORTING GRASSROOTS GROUPS FIGHTING CENSORSHIP IN HOMETOWNS ACROSS AMERICA Today is the Day!

Over the next 24 hours, people around the world are coming together to participate in a global day of giving.

At EveryLibrary, we have a goal of raising $5000 in just 24 hours. Thanks to supporters like you, we believe it's possible. Will you help us reach this goal with a donation today?

The Impact of Your Donation: Libraries Stay Funded. Books Stay on the Shelf.

EveryLibrary is 100% donor supported and all of our assistance is offered for free. We are currently supporting over 75 local and statewide grassroots groups of Americans who are fighting censorship and defending our right to read in their hometowns. We provide pro bono consulting and coaching, as well as access to a robust suite of tools on our Fight For the First organizing platform.

The impact of donor support has been nationwide -- whether helping the Marathon County Library Alliance in Wisconsin win in their fight to save library funding, or helping a small town in NJ win the fight against the banning of LGBTQ+ books.

  • $500 funds ongoing, seven days a week, soup-to-nuts support for one grassroots campaign
  • $250 funds the onboarding of one new grassroots team fighting book bans in their community
  • $100 funds the identification of 500 new local activists
  • $50 funds one day of awareness-building in a local community

In addition to this work, we continue to provide free, direct support for library campaigns across the country, leading to critical funding wins this month for Livingston Parish (LA) Library, Patmos Library (MI), and a win for Pella (IA) Public Library, ensuring it remained under the control of an independent library board which has defended the library against book banners in the community.

We need you with us.

Help us support grassroots groups of Americans as they fight the good fight for libraries and against censorship. Please Donate Today!
