I am running for Ward 6 School Committee because I am committed to working toward a Somerville where every family knows they are valued and every child can thrive.


I have lived in Somerville since 2004 when I moved here from New York with my husband, Mike. We have three children who are Somerville Public Schools students at three different schools. I have served on the Brown School PTA board for six years and have volunteered with the Somerville Youth Soccer League for nine years. I am a Registered Dietitian and currently work as Food For Free's Program Coordinator for the Somerville Weekend Backpack Program.


When not doing any of these other things, I enjoy running, photography, travel, and writing Haiku -- sometimes all at once!
