Ellen Park

Park for Assembly

Assemblywoman Ellen Park is running for re-election in New Jersey's 37th District. Together with her running mates - Senator Gordon M. Johnson and Assemblywoman Shama Haider - Ellen has the experience and leadership needed to represent the breadth and the diversity of our community, but she needs your help to do it!

As the first Korean-American Assemblywoman in the history of New Jersey, I believe deeply that representation matters, that all peoples - races, genders & creeds - deserve a seat at the table.

District 37 is one of the most diverse, inclusive and welcoming districts in the State of New Jersey, with an exceptional and thriving small business community. Ellen and her running mates fight for women's rights, environmental justice, government transparency, public transportation, public education and equal opportunity for all.

In her first two years, Ellen has driven a number of important policy wins for New Jerseyans, including legislation to:

  • Increase the requirements for obtaining a firearm purchaser identification card, permit to purchase a handgun, and permit to carry a handgun
  • Condemn hate in all forms and especially all hate and bias crimes
  • Limit the amount paid by covered persons for purchase of insulin drugs and epinephrine
  • Designate annual Lunar New Year in NJ

Ellen's accomplished a lot in two years but there is a lot more she wants to get done - help send Ellen back to the State Assembly to fight for you!"
