Help Me Put Educators and Students First at KPS

As our next KPS Board Trustee, I pledge to fight to help our students be ready to be engaged in the world when they graduate. They need the resources to be ready for employment, trade school, or enroll in college.

And that means fighting for our teachers and support staff! They aren't being supported as they should, and we're losing our best and brightest to other schools in the area - not just because of money, but because they have more support, smaller classes, and support staff who are respected by their districts. We used to be the Destination District for faculty and staff, and WE CAN BE AGAIN!

And our current KPS board doesn't seem to have a coherent mission or a willingness to draft and support new policies. They never discuss their votes in public, they rarely explain their positions, and they appear to rubber-stamp anything the administration suggests. The board needs to be the PUBLIC'S VOICE to the administration, and when I am elected, I will work hard to chip away at these practices.

So please, support my campaign to be one of the next Kalamazoo Public School's Trustees, and empower me to fight for our students, our teachers, our support staff, and the public's voice in our district.
