Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
In addition to the above, you also agree to the following statements/rules/etc:
I am NOT a registered federal lobbyist
I am NOT a lobbyist registered with the state of California
I am NOT a corporation
I am NOT a CEO of a Big Oil company
I am NOT a CEO of a Big Pharmaceutical company
I am NOT a CEO of a Big Bank
Contributions are not tax deductible. The limit per donor is $39,200 (primary) and $39,200 (general). Contributions from individuals, unions, and political committees, are permitted. Spouses may each contribute the maximum from a joint bank account as long as each makes a separate credit card contribution or signs their own check, or provides an accompanying letter. Contributions from state lobbyists, federal lobbyists, lobbying firms, and foreign nationals/principals are prohibited (contributions from green card holders are permitted). You must provide your street address, occupation, and employer for reporting purposes. If you are unemployed or retired please note that under "employer" and "occupation." Contributions must be from the contributor's own funds and may not be reimbursed by another unless you tell us the true source of the contribution.
In addition to the above, you also agree to the following statements/rules/etc:
