My name is Émilia Decaudin, I’m a democratic socialist, a union member, and a District Leader, and I'm running to be the first transgender legislator in New York, and to fight for a State that works for working people, not the rich and powerful.
The promise of New York as a sanctuary for the marginalized and oppressed falls flat when people simply can’t afford to live here. With your help, we will build a State where housing and utilities are affordable, where the air is clean, where the streets are safe, and where a good, union job that pays a living wage is within everyone’s reach.
