This November, DC will have the opportunity to send Emily Gasoi, a seasoned educator with over 20 years of experience in the field, to the State Board of Education. 


Because Emily ...


  • understands how policy decisions play out in schools for educators, students, and their families;
  • is a strong advocate for a public school system where key stakeholders have a voice and a place at the table;
  • will work to create a better approach to improving our public schools and to serving the students, parents and teachers who believe in them;
