Empower Oakland

Empower Oaklanders!

From West to East, Oaklanders want the same basic things: safe streets, great schools, a government that works, and an economy where families and businesses can grow. Empower Oakland knows this because we conduct regular polling, produce the city's most-read voter guide, and organize everyday citizens to hold leaders accountable and elect candidates who will deliver results.

Why donate to the Empower Oakland Committee? Money alone doesn’t win elections—smart deployment does. Your money donated to the Empower Oakland Committee will go to only one thing: advertising our voter guide and endorsements. In our first year, we became the #1 used voter guide in Oakland. In our second year, we were outspent 3-to-1 and still succeeded in flipping City Council District 2 through hyper-targeted voter outreach.

When you invest in Empower Oakland, the brand sustains and continues to grow election after election, and we accelerate real progress for Oaklanders year after year.
