Let's #EndGunViolence!
I'm Amy Edwards. I became a member of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America (which is a part of Everytown) when my own children were having lockdown drills after the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary in 2012. I am working hard with other volunteers to reduce the gun related tragedies that our country faces daily. I don't believe that we should wait to be affected by gun violence, which is why I wrote the song "Your Backyard," above.
