Environment America Action Fund works to protect our environment by supporting candidates for public office who champion clean air, clean water, wilderness preservation, and strong action to address global warming.

Since 2008, Environment America Action Fund, in coordination with its partner groups, has knocked on more than 5.8 million doors across 16 states and held more than 2.2 million conversations with voters, with the goal of building support for candidates who stand up for the environment, and the causes they represent.

In 2020, in addition to our work in support of President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Senator Ed Markey, we made certain that environmental voters in Pennsylvania had the tools and confidence they needed to vote safely. Combining old-fashioned people power with modern outreach technology, we educated thousands of people by phone about how they could both register to vote and vote by mail. Between August and November of 2020, Environment America Action Fund, in coordination with our in-state partner group PennEnvironment, made over 4.5 million dials by phone to reach voters across the Keystone State.
