El Pueblo provides a full range of legal services as well as other support services to immigrants in Mississippi.
Your donation will help El Pueblo provide the following services:
- Case Management for immediate and long-term recovery after local natural disasters (such as hurricanes, floods, and tornadoes)
- Immigration Legal Services
- Healthcare access and Covid-19 vaccinations
- Emergency food donations
- English as a Second Language Classes
- Translation and Interpretation Services
- Advocacy for immigrant rights
- Trauma counseling
- Empowerment and Leadership Development of Immigrant Women
Our work helps immigrants while also making Mississippi a more welcoming place, ensuring that:
- The immigrant community contributes fully to the growing local economy
- Public health is protected during the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond
- Immigrants and their children do not go hungry
- Increase in English fluency
- The rights of all are protected
