Larry Mishel has devoted his career as an economist and a thought leader, including 30 years at EPI, towards championing the needs and rights of workers. As President since 2002, Larry helped strengthen EPI’s focus on policy recommendations to promote an economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthy few, and guided the Institute to serve as an effective, truth-telling watch dog against regulatory and legislative efforts to roll back worker protections.
