Call Out Phony Progressivism: We won’t stand for a 27% cut in Social Security!
We must stand together to oppose Rep. Sam Johnson’s (R-TX) bill to destroy Social Security.
Johnson’s bill attempts to camouflage draconian cuts with modest increases for 26 percent of beneficiaries. But the bill really includes a “greatest hits” of cuts, including: raising the retirement age, changing the benefit formula to reduce benefits, cutting cost-of-living adjustments, and more.
Donate to the EPI Policy Center to stop the “Social Security Reform Act,” which cuts benefits for 70 percent of recipients.
We’re not buying Sam Johnson’s phony progressivism that cuts Social Security benefits.
