Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to Equality California Federal PAC (“EQCA Federal PAC”) are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. EQCA Federal PAC contributions are used to make contributions to federal candidates. Contributions to EQCA Federal PAC are voluntary and will not affect your job or membership status, and you have the right to refuse to contribute without any reprisal. Federal law requires EQCA Federal PAC to use its best efforts to report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. You must certify that you are a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
