Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to Equality Congress Project PAC will be allocated as follows:
Contributions will be split evenly between Mark Takano for Congress and Equality Project PAC. For contributions to Mark Takano for Congress, the first $2,900 of a person’s contribution and the first $5,000 of a multicandidate committee's will be considered designated to the primary election; the next $2,900/$5,000 will be considered designated to the general election, unless the primary election has already occurred, in which case contributions will be considered designated only to the general election. Any contribution in excess of $5,000 per calendar year to Equality Project PAC and $5,800 per election cycle to Mark Takano for Congress will be allocated to the Non-Contribution Account associated with Equality Project PAC.
Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting jennifer@nextlevelpartners.net. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
